newbie flashing my bios -Help

Hi there i have a xecuter 2.6 installed on my xbox v1.6. i have had a go at flashing the evo m8plus_16 via http on bank 1 (3.0.1) and now i get a blank screen and my xbox is flashing green and red. can i get round this or do i need to try bank2 which comes up with flash bios (3.0.3) which i have seen can cause a few problems with v1.6 xbox

The flash went bad, but luckily it sounds like you can still use flashbios. Did you read the tutorials on xbox-scene.com and teamxecuter.com? What did you do to m8plus_16.bin before flashing to the chip? Did you use x2bm? How big was the file you flashed? Was the file you flashed named bios.bin?

I went wrong when i didnt use the x2bm i just uploaded the m8plus_16.bin to my xbox, i have since checked the sites out in more detail and have used x2bm and created a bios.bin file that is 1m not 256k as before and created a iso cd with a dummy bin file as the forum displayed. i only have bank 2 working now is there anyway of reflashing bank 1 as i dont want mess up my only bank

OK. On the X2.6 your hacked bios MUST be on bank 2, sorry... that is, in x2bm put you're flashbios_v303.bin on banks 1 and 2 (literally bank 1 on the X2.6) and m8_plus16.bin on banks 3 and 4 (literally bank 2) to create your 1024Kb bios.bin . Flash this and hope to hell it works. If this stuffs up, I've given you bad advice and you'll need to do a "hot swap".

sorted i have flashed x2_5032 plus which has fixed it
