just trying to get you to do alittle research that's all  Yeah you have frag which indicates that you have a bad install. How exactly did you mess up lad1? Also what happens when you press power+eject at the same time, will the switch light turn purple?

Well I made an ass job of the soldering on Lab 1 but i thought i might have got away with it butt it seems not. I have just re soldered Lad1 and now going to re-trye fingers crossed - Should All my Dip Switches on control panel be set to off Or should one of the Banks Be Enabled?

Hey, are using the component (HDTV) converter to hook the XBOX up to your TV or are you using the standard composite (RCA) cables that came with the XBOX. I just modded my 2nd XBOX with an Xecuter 3 CE and hooked it up to my TV with the component converter. All the lights on the front switch were correct but when I turned it on (quick press of the power button), the blue light on the switch came on but there was nothing on the screen except a dark, dim maroon background. If I turned the XBOX on by holding the power button down for a second or more, the front switch turned red like it was supposed to and it would bypass the modchip and I could see the regular MS dashboard on my TV.

I pulled the composite cables out of the plastic bag that came with the XBOX and hooked the XBOX up to the TV with those and booted the bios and I could then see FLash BIOS 3.0.1 like I oughta!!!!!

Oh, BTW, my dip switches on my front were all off.
