Newbie Needs A little Help!

I just installed the mod chip and it will not boot with mod chip on. If i switch it off console work fine.
What the problem?
HELP!

set to bank 1 then if you have a v1.6and not v1.6b then you should get flashbios screen then you flash a bios to chip x2 5035 v16 plus
if you got a v1.6b then flashbios is on bank 2
when you flash your chip you need to do one thing if flashbios is on bank 1 then once you see the flashbios screen then change you switch to bank 2 without rebooting xbox this is so you do not flash over flashbios if you do you will not be able to flash the chip

when set on bank 1 with chip on, it flashes green & red on start bottom and won't boot up.

try bank 2 if you do not get flashbios recheck soldering

When checking soldering as DJBOOBY recommended you can skip one area... D0. The fact that you see a difference between when you have the mod off and on shows that you got this point right. This is a plus since D0 is generally the toughest point to do.

If you have a solderless install try giving the LPC holes a quick cleaning with a pencil eraser. Then make sure you have the adapter properly seated and tightened down when reinstalling.
