newbie needs help

hi,
ive just bought my son a crystal xbox with the x3 chip.
im trying to boot up with the evox dash but all i get is the EVO X in the top left corner with the xbox logo with microsoft underneath it, i leave it for a few secs then it goes into the normal green options screen.
is their anything i need to change in the x3 live settings or one of the switches on the front.
tx for any info on this matter

You loaded the Evolution X BIOS ... not the Evox Dashboard.

Dump the Evolution X BIOS and use the X3 BIOS ... get the Evox dashboard files - and just upload them to your HDD on C: (default, this can be changed
