I am a newbie at flashing my BenQ 360. I ususally bring my 360 to a guy who flashes it for 30 euro's. But when i saw the x360usb pro, I thought I would give it a try myself
. I use my 360 for offline gaming only.
My current fw is LT+ 1.1 and i want to flash to 2.0 so I can play the new XDG3 games. So I followed the steps I read on forums about this updating process.
First I flashed back to stock firmware.
Then I used an usb to update my dashboard to the latest dashboard (13599).
Then I tried to flash to Lt+ 2.0.
Jungleflasher doesn't give any error whatsover and i spoofed the source to target, and the dvd keys match.
But when i try to play Gears of War 3 it just says play game > goes to pitchblack > and then goes to dashboard. I tried another game to see if the problem was with the burning, so i popped in Deus EX and that gives a play DVD error.
Kinda scared i flashed back to my old LT+1.1 firmware to see if i didn't screw anything up (keep in mind i am a newbie, first time flashing
) and everything worked again (meaning i could play Deus EX).
Now i am wondering what the hell i am doing wrong here. I read somewhere that usually the play dvd errors are a sign i did something wrong with the dvd keys.
So any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated
