I tell you this is damn funny.
I read through here a bit to see if there is any new info on the Xecuter 3.
There are sooooo many posts of folks that are saying I soldered my X3, but it is not working.
Come on folks very first thing you should do is check and recheck the soldering. I just did my first solder mod last week. Did not work the first time, but I knew to check my solder points. (I even went so far as to electronically check the connections) Sure enough I found a bad solder point. Everything worked perfect after that.
REMEMBER....CHECK SOLDER POINTS. After you get it going....TAPE DOWN THE WIRES.
We don't need 50million posts to repeat the same crap!
