The title says it all. I've asked numurous of times on xbox-scene about this problem, but nobody seems to know. So I decided to go here and see if anyone knew of a problem. This board has been sitting in my closet for the past few months and I wanna get it going. Any help would be appreceated.

well it was right after a chip install. but i overlooked the board and there seemed to be no solder splashes, or broken traces anywhere. lpc traces look fine too. So i really dont know how else to explain it.

ok well i messed w/ the box for a bit and for some reason the sound doesnt work w/ the regular a/v cable it came w/, but i know the cable is fine cause i'm using it on another box. But when I hook it up to my component cable w/ digital sound, it works. So now I'm really stumped here.

if you can use the digital audio I would do it, but you probably plan to take the xbox around. Unfortunately it sounds like when you installed the chip you did some permanant damage to the xbox mobo, you're lucky the box even works. I would take the chip out and look around the lpc and at the lpc rebuild board closer, magnifying glass, even get a digital camera in there and use the zoom feature to get a real close look. If possable even show some pics so others can try to help diagnose the specific problem.
