Here is my problem. When I quick boot, X3 enabled, I get the flubber screen and then the Xecuter Rox my Box logo, and it locks there. I have a 1.6 v box, X3 chip, and 3294 v 16 plus on bank 1. It worked initially before I started playing with the config screen and made some errors. First I formatted the hard disk, and then I changed the bios password (which I just read does not work on the X3 chip), and I may have even disabled the autolaunch config screen. Nice huh. I have tried holding down the white button with three different M$ original wired controllers, and still cannot get back to the config screen. I cannot ftp into the box. I can however flash the bios via http. I have tried flashing with a Cromwell bios that I found on xbins and some others, and then reflashing the 3294v16plus. Same results. I ordered another X3 chip for another one of my xbox, and it should be here tomorrow. Anybody have any suggestions? I have been reading the posts for about three hours and have tried alot of suggestions with no luck. I will try anything at this point. Please help.

You need to flash with the x3_1892 which will ask you for the password. Unset the password option then reflash with Bios 3294.

3294 bios config screen freezes at start-up, I flashed 1892, (works fine), dose not ask for pass word, I then set one and deleated it. ver 1.1 no i'm not trying to use ver 1.6 bios , and I tried to reset bios to default before flashing 3294, didn't work either. ?

i've tried, also reflashed with 3284, it will boot evox with the newer bios, just won't alow the bios screen, I also tried the a+b+x+y thing on boot up, yea that sucked it just reset the bios. and still did not alow bios screen. so i'v flashed the chip about 15 thime in 2 days.any idea's would help

Hi there. I am currently having the same problem but with my 1.5 box. Will the X3_1892 bios work for 1.5 and below? I have tried to redownload and reflash many times. I don't have a dash installed yet and can't ftp. I can only use the "cd to flash" method. Well Thanks in advance.
you don't need a dash installed to flash, just the chip with a flashbios on it, just connect a ether cable to from pc to box, go on internet and instead of http: type in xbox ip address. any way I just put a new x3 ce chip im my box that was working with a x3 chip in it and then flashed with 3294 , it still won't let me access the config screen, it will just frezz on boot up, unless I flash with 1892 bios, I put my old chip in my friends box and that one still has the same problem, and I have erased and re downloaded 3294 a few times just to make sure it wasn't corrupt.
