No Bios on X3, please help

There seems to have only been flashBIOS 3.01 on the chip and nothing in any other bank or in the backup button combo launch. I flashed the wrong 2914 (the one NOT for my 1.6 xbox) sucessfully, and now have nothing to go back to or any idea what to do. All I get now is the three tries then FRAG, and in the backup modes or other banks I always got a blank screen. I saw on the X2 you could get a programmer to flash from a computer, but haven't seen anything like that for the X3. Am I just screwed, or is there something else possible to get a BIOS or that flashBIOS 3.01 back onto the chip?

have you tried backup bios? If you have x3ce, flashbios 3.0.1 should be in your backup bios. All you have to do is press power and eject buttons on the console at the same time until you see the X3 logo on the x3 control panel turns purple. If you have done this and still no go, you can at least try 3.0.3 which should be in your 5678 banks. I doubt it will work though.

Yes, no programmers for x3. You have other options available. You can contact your retailer and have them reflash flashbios for you for a minimal fee (if they even would do it), if you have a working modchip or another modded xbox you can try hotswap. Or you can give it to someone and hotswap it for you. Or you can sell it and buy another one as a last resort. Those are options you have if your backup bios is not available. Sorry to give you the bad news

Lame. The backup bios on the chip was the 3.03 for those v1.6b boxes, however that leaves me with NO WORKING BIOS. Gotta figure out what the heck i can do.
