No Bios Screen

interestingly enough, i unplug the D0/HDD/LAN cable and the xbox boots the exact same way. all lights on the X3 are lit, but that f'n X on the front is staying red! i checked my soldering for the 110th time and i even followed the tracers on the xbox board and did a continuity test from there all the way to the plug at the end of the D0 and it passes. the bank settings don't make any difference. at this point, i'm hoping it's the chip cause i'm fresh out of patience with this one!

Removing the hdd/lan/d0 cable doesn't really prove anything, since the d0 signal is what forces the X3 to enable (and thus turns the logo blue).

Your best option is to get another chip (borrow one if you have to) and try to boot from FlashBIOS with it, or a compatible hacked BIOS.
