Hey Guys, starte that jtag Tool neither as nandpro would recudnise nandx "no usb device can not continue "
here is what i did so far:

- checked solder points several times -no bridges, look shiny as it should be - used lots of flux and flux cleaner afterwards (using 15W Iron and 0.5mm Sn60Pb40 Lead solder)

- up and downgraded nand-x several times used cK3i no errors

- used nandpro 2.0e and 3.a as well as Jtag tool

- installed, deinstalled and reinstalled drivers several times - nand-x is shown correctly in device manager

- triple checked that front board is attached and power brick got orange light

- tried every usb port for Nand-x connection

- read nearly every thread about nand-x problems

- coolrunner programming of 2 went flawlessly

nothing of those things helped still get the "Looking for USB interface device, Cannot continue" error in every tool.

Will post pics as soon as my girl brings the camera.

Update: Just fit my Box together to play a bit, removed Nand x cabel from qsbs, fitted dvd, fan and airduct, connected power, av, hdmi, tried to power up console but didnt do anything.

Rechecked solderpoints for grounding, only one grounding is where the yellow wire sits when using direct wire install of nand-x (isn't it supposed to ground?)

I'm sure i didn't burn anything cause i was really really carefull
As of now im not sure that i soldered the point next to r1 (larger qsb) to the correct Point - could that be the cause of box not booting?
Now i'm really lost.....

Is the standby clock the one next to the r1 resistor of the qsb? To wich point should it be connected to? Is it possible i soldered to the wrong point causing my prob? Will post pics once I get home

what drivers did you use for the NAND-X - it wasn't the ones bundled with Nandpro was it?
sorry - just realised no boot even with just QSBs.....??...

Gonna try reading nand from an old XP laptop i borrowed, but aint positiv that'll change anything

Weird isnt it?

To add, box was running fine before, only thing i noticed was that squeeky sound since I bought it but didnt matter, box worked fine for over 1 year now. didnt even have anything exept that squeekin sound

tried reading nand on winXP system gave me same error with nandpro3 "Looking for usb interface device, Can not continue" and in Nandpro 2 it says "incompatible ARM hardware for this version of Nandpro - can not continue"

I also checked my xbox for any scratched traces - didn't find any, checked standyclk trace ok - not scratched, transistor got round 30 Ohm. I even measured ohms between solderpoints - none is connected to another.:(

No clue whats wrong
