Ok so I got it online last night and did the update . Everything on the M$ side works great

Now however the CR wont glitch .

I redumped the new M$ nand and made a new gitch image from that , no joy . The wiring is fine as it was running fine before the update .

It now gives me RROD 0022 after 20 - 30 secs ( its nothing to do with the console it`s self ! )

any help would be great

I made a new ECC image and now the coolrunner light comes on and stays on it`s all a little weird

Yes the retail side is working fine
The CR doesnt flash and gives 0022 after 30 secs .

I`ll try building another image but i think it`ll do the same . I`m using j-runner . Will check for an updated version I think i`ve got the latest though

I think i`ve found the issue ,

* XOR HACK NEEDED FOR CB 6754
File C:\Users\avid\Desktop\xbox\J-Runner v02 (278) Core Pack\common\CB\CB_B.6754.bin not found!
Failed to open CB_B.6754.bin

What do I have to do with this ?

---------- Post added at 11:48 ---------- Previous post was at 11:43 ----------

looks like Microsoft changed the CB on me and messed me up ....

Just use original nand dump to create glitch image then change ldv to the latest m§ nand dump ldv value and then update with jrunner to latest dash and then write it

sorry mate i`m getting confused .

Can you explain how to do that in a bit more detail . I`m looking at the output in j-runner and there are like 3 different LDV values ...

cheers

Haven't you guys figured from Martin's post that LDV makes no difference with the glitched image anymore so long you use latest version of J-Runner!

Please post your J-Runner log and also make sure your uptodate by pressing F12 on J-Runner.

If it's a Slim then it doesn't matter whether you use RGH1 or RGH2, if it's a phat then it certainely will. You can only use dual NAND on phats with RGH2 (meaning you also need RGH2 wiring installed).

OK i`ll have to change the wiring and do it RGH2 . It was working fine with RGH 1 before I updated tough . I`ll switch the wring and get back to you .

Cheers

You answered your problem there mate. Since it was on RGH1 it was on single CB but since you accepted the MS update it changed to dual CB hence why the stock NAND worked fine but the RGH side didn't.

Re-wire to RGH2.0, create image and flash before reporting back and best of luck.

Try flashing the cool runner with different timing files while ticking the demon option every time.

Same thing every time . Could it be the jumpers on the CR ?

If your using cool runner rev c you need to set the jumpers to RGH2.0 config.

I`ve just noticed that the CAP next to the resistor I removed is missing (jp resistor) ... there should be 2 there is only one on this . also when i removed he resistor the pad on the right as we are looking at the pic above came with it .

For RGH1 neither of these issues seemed to matter . Just thought i`ll ask if you thoguht it might be that

Can you post pictures of your actual coolrunner? In general the jp point has to be open but you can use either 2-3 or 3-4 setups on the 2nd jumper.

Also to eliminate any issues with the demon, dump the stock nand and flash it to the demon. If console boots stock dash then your demon install is fine.
