It's the better option IMHO, as it'll use the kv and config from your dump to make a valid image. If any part of the dump process was at fault, you'll just get it again when you re-dump. Not to mention remembering to erase all previous NANDs for this console off the computer as the LDV will no longer be the same!
Everyone has their own way of doing things and the end result is usually the same however for someone doing this the first time the method "KISS" always works. I think it would be best for the OP to simply "start fresh" with the nand process.
Making sure the console is updated correctly before writing the glitch image is what I would do.
I had flashed my nand to the retail image (option 3 in multibuilder) and no change , still no booting.....
I have attached the multibuilder log file...
I think i'm doing something wrong!!!!
how can i revert to stock, in order to upgrade the dashboard???
Thanks!!!!
Using nandpro and your NANDX write back your original NAND Dump (nanddump1.bin).
1. NANDPRO COMMAND - nandpro usb: -w16 nanddump1.bin
2. Make sure the console boots with stock NAND.
3. Once it boots run the Official 14699 Update USB/CD
4. Using NANDX dump the nand 2-4 times, compare with nandpro or JTAG Tool.
5. With your new 14699 dumps create your Glitch Image using 360 Multi Builder and your CPU Key with options 2, 1, 3
6. Flash new nandflash.bin with NANDPRO Command - nandpro usb: -w16 nandflash.bin
