[font=verdana, arial, helvetica] Q: I've just flashed FlashBIOS 3.0.1 to my chip. It flashes fine but then when I reboot, it looks the same.
A: You just flashed your chip with another copy of FlashBIOS - nothing has changed, therefore nothing's different.

I would reccomend using the X3 2914 BIOS but sure Evox will work, and ya just upload "whateverthebiosiscalled.bin" into the HTTP thing.

If I am correct you want to flash your 3.0.3 flashbios down to 3.0.1. If this is the case you need to use the the X2 Bios Manager v2.3 from teamxecuter here:
http://www.teamxecuter.com/index.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownloaddetails&lid=14
then you need to make a bios the size fo the bank you are flashing. If it is one of the main banks 1024KB, backup 256KB. You can do that by loading the bios into number of banks needed. The bank size is indicated in the banks and there are some pictures in this tutorial from teamxecuter:
http://www.teamxecuter.com/x2prog/
Save the bios and then flash the bios bank and it you should be good.

NO!! why would you flash your working flashbios with another flashbios...if he has a 1.6b then he's screwed if it gets reflashed with 3.01 ...
the chip is supplied with 3.03 in one bank & 3.01 in the other bank.

if it boots to a flashbios..then flash it with a full x3 bios..

if for some bizzare reason u want a flashbios on the other bank then u can do it from x3 config live...

WOW! A little testy! I guess I mess read the post. I got it backwards....if you have 3.0.1 and want to go to 3.0.3 you can do the same thing, but actually use the 3.0.3 instead.
