no config life!!!! boots directly to luncher what bios do i need?

i have bought a lcd screen for my x3. problem . the screen light up but the writthing is so light a hardly can see it . i tried to get the config live so i can change the contrast of the lcd , but i cant get it it boots directly to the launcher , what shall i do .??
any help will much apreaciated

hold the white button while booting, this will bring up X3CL.

i have tried that . but it only changes the lightness of the screen but the writting is still unclear :-(

You need to adjust the contrast using the "wheel" on the X3 chip itself. It bios only adjusts the brightness of the lcd.

You can also goto the chip it self and increase the contrast that way
