No Dashboard?

Little help here fellas,


Last night, i installed the X3 on a 1.0 Xbox.
Flashed the 1959 just fine.
Loaded up EvoX, even installed DVD2XBOX.
(Thanks to the fine tutorials.)

But when i awoke this morning, i turn on my xbox without the modchip on, it does the green flubber animation and then just sits at the Xbox Logo screen. The original dashboard doesnt pop up. I get a 07 error code. (HDD Timeout).

Reboot.

Short press of the power button. Yellow flubber animation, Then it sits at the Xbox logo, once again. No "Rox my Box" logo, and no Evox. Not even Config Live. (even when i hold the white button on boot)

Any ideas guys? I am just now getting ready to pop the sucker open and take a peek. The chip cant be dead since it is doing a different color flubber.

Check solder points...mainly D0.

make sure the dvd-rom and hdd are plugged in all the way also

Turns out there was a short on one of the ground wires on the molex adapter, nothing a little solder and electrical tape couldnt fix.
