ANSWERED No Display on jtag system?

I received a console for repair that was a "red ring." After testing, it gets 0002. Open it up and I see that it has been jtag'd and the x-clamps have been replaced. I re-installed the x-clamps as the screw kit was installed improperly. After doing this, the console booted but did not display anything. First thing I thought was it needs a GPU reflow. I have yet to do an actual jtag seeing as I have not came across a console that had an early enough CB/Dash. Has anyone seen a jtag go wrong and cause the box to not display?

no.

the console has clearly RROD and requires a reflow/reball to work again, just removing the heatsink and placing it again tighter will do absolutely nothing. may as well rub your nuts on it for all thats done.

the jtag is nothing to do with loss of picture.

did you leave the console for a while to let it RROD and see what the new code is?

loss of picture is a common thing right before a RROD.

Can you boot Xell by pressing eject? Does the RoL react?

Did a reflow on it, and xell boots on power button. Thanks for the replies!
