LITEON 0225 NO DRIVE DETECTED after PCB REPLACE

Hi guys, hope u are fine!

I have a problem, my xbox slim 0225 worked fine and was recognized by JF.

I have ordered the unlocked pcb and installed it on the drive, but when i connect it to the PC, JF does not recognize it.

I have checked the cables etc and all seems to be good.

Do you have any idea ?

are you aware that the board is blank when you recieve it the instructions are in the JF tut

I have another question. In the firmware pack that i have downloaded there are 3 FW for the 0225.

- LTPlus-025v1.91
- LTPlus-025-v1.91
- LTPlus-025v1.91u

which one is to be flashed and what is the difference between them ?

Yes the drive it completely blank when you get them. If I'm not mistaken just send an intro and you should see flashchip properties.

When you flash the TX board you need to select the "Phat" box,
not the "Slim" box.

Then hit "Intro"

if your drive is labled as 9504 but jungleflasher says it's a 0225 then use LTPlus-025v1.91u

if it's labled 0225 then use LTPlus-025-v1.91:rolleyes2:

Maybe the JF guys could add one more tab to the program, like they put the IRC channel, labeled TUTORIAL and inside there is already the pdf file wide opened. What do you guys think ? :wink:

why do that when you get the tut in the documentation floder of jf.:tongue:

but then if the JF tut changes everyone wouldnt that be a pain having to re release a JF because the TUT changed

Or maybe they can add a TAB named NEW PCB just for flashing the replacement PCBs - it will be more intuitive

I would like to note, actually, since I just ran into this myself...

Under step 9 in the tutorial for the TX PCB, it says the following...

"(2) Click the I/O refresh button and make sure that the drive properties show that its a PLDS DG-16D4S" and you are not suppose to send the intro until step 5 there...

When I attempted to do the I/O refresh, it showed up as 'No Drive Detected' every time and caused me to pause there. Admittedly, after a quick search and read through this post, I just hit the Intro button and it popped up at that point. Just noting that if you follow the tut, you might still encounter this and it says to 'make sure the drive properties show'.
