Hi all
I have done alot of browsing of threads here to find particular answers to my questions below, although i have found some answers it seems inconclusive to my situation.
Would really appreciate any help you guys can give me. Couple of issues.

First is my slim 0225 was originally flashed to LT+2.0 (from stock) at the time by one guy (no longer accessible). Then when LT+3.0 was released, I had another guy update the firmware. Both guys know their stuff.

When the firmware was updated from LT2.0 to LT3.0, console worked fine for about 3 weeks then starting giving me "play dvd" message and no games would work. Originals would still work but now no longer reads either. After researching I believe the problem to be that the guy that put LT+3.0 for me, would have required as a minimum the OFW file before writing LT+3.0? Pls correct me?

This was a some months back and I left the Slim to collect dust. I have been doing Phat's for the past year or so, so I decided to open the slim, extract the dummy.bin file and flash back to stock (per JF stock fw file), and then put LT+3.0 back on. Now this is when i see originals do no work either.

Please help in advising if there is anyway I can get the xbox back to stock, so that originals at the very least work and I can sell the Xbox. Or first prize, would be for me to get LT+3.0 working so that it reads all games again. If so, please advise me on steps to follow. From what i researched it seems the slims have encryption and that is why the OFW is so important? I also read that this file can be rebuilt although I am not sure how or where to start.

I have the X360 USB pro, CK3i & latest JF0.1.92

Thank you in advance for your assistance and advise if you require anything further from me.

I'm not exactly an expert on this, but if your DVD drive is already flashed to LT+ 3.0, then extracting the key did nothing because you extracted the key from LT+ 3.0, not the stock firmware. You MIGHT be able to find the correct files to flash it to stock somewhere, but I don't know where. Maybe a Moderator or someone with a bit more knowledge might be able to direct a link?

If the console worked for three weeks it was flashed correctly. Sound like a dying laser to me.

In the case of a spelling error, I blame Tapatalk.
