How do you replace a hitachi drive?
Does the FW have to be the same on the drives or can I replace a 79 with a 78?

Changing a Hit drive is very Easy, All you need to do it is change the DVD board. Take the metal Shell of the drive, and underneath is the Board.. That board has to match the 360 motherboard so changing 360 drives wont work, But with the Hit, All you need to do it take out the small wires that connect to that board which is easy, done it loads and do the same with the other drive, Change boards round and Done.
Ebay sells Hit drives cheap, But these drives have No board, You just need remove your board from your Drive, put the board into the new one and Put it in your 360 and Done, No spoofing or anything needed.
