Had a cr4 laying around so I went and bought a Jasper 16gb yesterday. I gave most of my equipment to someone a few months back so all I was left with was a nand-x and a cr4 (I forgot to keep the nand-x wires :facepalm
. Anyway, I soldered, directly to the nand-x and soldered to the motherboard. Read 3 nand dumps, all perfect and matching. I've been doing this stuff for a while (
Since I didn't have QSBs, I just got 1N914 diodes and hooked it up like a normal jtag (Thats how I've done, All my R-jtags since I don't like QSBs)
Wrote Xell-Reloaded, and booted the console, No green debug light. I know that sometimes the wiring being near certain areas of the motherboard makes it not work correctly to so i moved the wires around but nothing still. I checked my diodes, and they looked good. Didn't know what to do so I flashed my original nand back. Here's where it gets weird. I flashed my nand back and turned on the xbox knowing that it should RROD since diodes were still in. BUT IT DIDN'T! So this is where I'm confused. I've never seen this before.
Has anyone experienced this before or know a way to fix?
