So I just finished my Soldering and programming for the RGH.I'm at the point of where I get to turn on my console and it glitches it. The green light isn't coming on at all. I tried to take pictures of the soldering but its my g/f camera and I don't know how to use it to focus on the little parts...looking up how to use it now.:(

Yes it's set to norm and slim accordingly. I hope its something easy that i forgot and i dont have to resolder anything .

I don't think it has anything to do with the Hana chip point seeing as I read it and flashed it already. Im thinking its one of the ones on the bottom(but the soldering looks good).

fold the blue wire up like it was packaged and tuck the bundle under the xclamps (loosely, don't tie it with the tie wire)....I have done 60+ rgh's and have not had one that failed to glitch

I rolled up the blue wire and tucked it under the xclamp.Same stuff...even set it to phat ...nothing.Does not rolling up the blue wire stop it from glitching?I had it sitting freely.

The problem is normally the orange or green wire..... Remove both and make sure you are not creating a bridge those two points are very close to other connections and can easily create a bridge.

I would say 90% of the time that is the cause.

All the wires are soldered almost to perfection. There is no bridging on any of the points.....the only thing i can think of is the nand point but I dont see why that would stop it from booting.Isn't it usually the 2 wires underneath that casue it to hang on boot ups?

Also i dont know where my Multimeter is so i cant check. I want a definitive answer before i go de-soldering stuff. If you want pics i got tons so just ask.

do you hear your fan making like a clacking noise? if it is, your blue wire is not in the right location, and I found that the green led won't blink when it clacks bad. (you are sure you programmed the CR, right?)

I leave the blue wire folded as it is, and tuck it under the xclamp where the array of caps are, every single Slim I have done has booted within 10 blinks of the green light, most within 3 blinks. I'll take a pic of the next one I do, probably on Monday.

Also, did you just lay your wire on the test points and touch it with the iron? I lay down a small blob of solder on the test points first, then position the wire flat in the center of the blob, then touch the blob on the opposite side, and the wire slides in...when it's soldered, it looks like a thermocouple end. Maybe your wires aren't getting a solid connection and too much signal and voltage is being dissipated. Hopes this helps a little...

Try moving your 3.3v wire so it isn't running under the data cables. I have it coming into the 3.3v point from the other side of the pad on the CR (if that makes sense).

So I re-soldered the 3.3v up like you said and also the b and f on the QSB(they looked a little weird). Nothing has changed. I now realize 2 new things I never caught before.....When i turn it on if i put my ear to my power brick it has a faint squeak repetitive noise and I read something earlier about a fan clicking.I can hear it but so faint that i have to literally put my ear on it.

I don't know where my multimeter is......Do you think I should just re-solder the CPU_RST? Maybe its a bad connection? How about the POST_OUT1? What are some signs that they arn't connected properly?
