hello everybody,
noob here.
i'm in the process of doing the rgh to the consoles of some of my friends.
the last one, a zephyr, worked, although it is a bit picky about booting.
so, yesterday i did a jasper and i never even got a green light on the CR. that is after the CR was programmed as the green light went off after i programmed it.
it is a jasper 16mb BB according to jrunner.
i dumped the nand twice, both are the same.
have a bad block at 2A8.
made ecc-image, then wrote ecc-image and then nothing.
the console won't boot. not into xell and not into the dash. just a black screen.
so, i flashed the original dump back just to see that the console now has a RROD.
could the reason for the RROD be my soldering?
or would it more likely be that i moved the mainboard by holding the heatsink(s)?
the console worked before the installation as i checked wether it has an internal memorycard or not.
honestly i think i messed up at some point.
but is there a way to get that baby going again?
thanks in advance for any helpful/insightful answers.
