Hey everyone, sorry to bother on Christmas Eve, but I'm trying to get this console ready for tomorrow morning!

Pretty much my problem is that the Debug Light on the CR4 Chip does not go green when I turn on the console :(

Here's the Pictures of Soldering:

Here's the JRunner Log:

Also, I used the ALT Point for the CPU_RST cause unfortunately the f**king pad got lifted...

Any help would be more than appreciated. If you need anymore pictures of something let me know.

Thanks!

If I do the RGH2 method instead, can I still use the Alternate R8C2 point?

Or is there a different one for RGH?

Or you could try and scrape the trace near M,

Not sure why you aren't getting dbg light.

Your soldering looks Ok

But, never test your connection by pulling on the wire

Get a hot glue gun,

I didn't want to create a new thread, so I figured I'd bump my own since it goes with the same issue.

Is there an alternate CPU_RST Point besides the resistor at R8C2?

If there is, can someone post a picture of where it is?

Thanks.

Try this also

The DIP settings above are setup to be the perfect CENTER (average) for these PHAT version consoles. So you should then try DIPS 2, 3 and 4 to get the best results for your console. My personal favorite is DIP 3 (so for example 3 and 7 ON if you have a Falcon). Remember to only test 1 DIP at a time, do not switch 2 on at the same time you'll screw things up. We have kept this as simple as possible*

If that fails try going back to stock, just remove the red wire and see if it boots

Reffering to OP before hijack : Problem probably would be, that yellow wire should go to FT6U7 NOT to FT6U1 as is currently connected (picture 5)

Yes if OP was doing a RGH2+ install, wich he isn't.

It looks connected but looks can be deceiving, I would still check it for continuity to the resistor directly underneath it on the picture you posted, also is that "fluff" from cotton buds? I would remove that if possible.

You're going have to flash a stock image so that we can determine if there are other problems with the xbox otherwise all i can suggest is to try another cr4

Dont forget to disable your jtag wiring both switches to off and disconnect the red wire

I did that already, and it booted up no problem.

Is it possible I happened to get a defective CR4?

Found this on elotrolado seems to suggest that all these 3 points are on the same trace for cpu_rst

http://www.elotrolado.net/download/file.php?id=77374&sid=9c9ac3c8593914a828b175740dd6a75d

Although i dont speak spanish so who knows

If somebody has a console they could check, that would be great
You're telling me all 3 of those points could be used as a CPU_RST?

Im not certain about cpu_rst but if someone else could confirm with a dmm that would be good, or you could try scraping the tiny remains of your trace and checking with a multimeter

Yes, it's possible that your cr4 is defective you can also try rgh2+ to confirm
