Hi all,

Here's one for you :)

My Xbox 360 premium has developed an HDMI problem (NO audio or video).

I have tried the steps to downgrade the resolution without success.

But, I have noticed something strange.

If I am watching cable TV through HDMI 1, then connect my 360 (WITHOUT power) to HDMI 2, the HDMI 1 connection (Cable TV) goes blank.

I am thinking this is a hardware issue with the HDMI port, even with NO power, just plugging in the HDMI lead into HDMI 2 causes HDMI 1 to go blank.

Anyone ever come across this before?

Other than send it to Microsoft, I am willing to have a go myself, anyone got any ideas or suggestions please?

I have tried 4 different hdmi cables & all in all 3 inputs of tv too.

I have tried all TV's in my house which are Panasonic, Samsung & LG.


Not sure if this is a hdmi out problem or handshake problem.
But why would it blank the other hdmi channel out even without power?
Strange.
