Im having a strange issue. I have a version 1.6 xbox as identified by a guide on this site, and another serial number guide.. My serial is 41xxxxxxxxxx, and i have the xcaliber video chip + samsung memory.

I have a xapt3r v1.6, and a xecuter 2.6. Three of the "holes" on my board (b,c, and E) are not open. There is no hole, no metal ring around these points, or anythign for me to insert the wires into? Am i missing something? I am lost, any help would be greatly appreciated.

some of the newer motherboards have a heavy coating of lacquer over the holes which can make it difficult to insert the legs of the Xapt3r into. I have heard of various ways of removing the lacquer and believe that use a fibreglass pencil is the best. Do be careful though as I have read horror stories of people going at it with knives etc etc and wrecking their motherboard.

If you can post a picture to show exactly what you mean!

I used a needle and a pair of pliers to GENTLY punch through.. worked like a charm for me
