No picture and Xbox live

Can i play on xbox live with my xbox modded? if a turn the flash protect on the screen is blank when on turn on my xbox, if i turn it off the xbox boots fine. is this just me or is that a problem with the new X2 5032

NO!, you have to turn the chip OFF.

BTW, make sure you are switching the right switch for write protect, sound like your switching the BANK1\BANK2 switch.

Yeah, I'm having a problem with a blank screen also (with protect on or off). I have the correct version of the ini file on both the root of E and F. I'm pretty sure it boots to the evox dash because I can FTP to it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

if you can FTP to it, and you have sound just no video, it really sound slike you flashed the 1.6 bios to a 1 - 1.5 box (or vice versa)

I think that is what I did initially. However, when I reflashed it with the version for 1.0-1.5 it seems to be doing the exact same thing (sound but no video). I'll give it another try though.
