I had 3 customers bring their xboxes to me over the weekend do to not powering on after they attempted the RGH themselves. So my first step was to clean up their mess and I noticed a common issue. If the points in the pic were bridged it would not power on at all. These customers all tried to solder the QSB on with sub-standard soldering irons and the solder ran under the QSB to bridge the points. As soon as I cleaned them up they would boot perfectly. But to verify this was what was causing it I bridged the points myself on some scrap boards and they would not power at all, as soon as I removed the bridge they would power on. This may be the cause of alot of no power issues I read on the forms.
