Hi, I have searched to forums far and wide and have found a couple answers to my questions but since Im under 10 posts I can only post in here for now.

I attempted my first RGH on BB 512mb Jasper. Everything went fine until the end when I tried to install the Coolrunner chip. I managed decent connections on most of the points except the R4B24 where it is super tiny. My soldering skill are suspect but me being me I gave it a go anyway. I think I managed to pull the pad on that contact point. From my understanding this could be why its not booting anymore? Is there anything I can do? Use flux and try to get some solder on the contact point? I also had serious problems with the super small point where the green wire goes on the bottom of the board. Maybe this could be part of the problem too.

I am a noob for sure so any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

No power means you've pulled off the solder point near R4B24, otherwise known as STBY_CLK if I remember correctly.

It -is- possible to get solder back onto that point (I've done it myself), but I highly recommend you do not attempt this and send the console to someone for fixing.

if you bugger up the cpu_pll_bypass point and stby_clk point.

then it's time to stop.

Haha I see what you mean but there is nobody local that I know that can help me with this. Im going to buy a finer tip point and have a go at it myself. I only paid 40 bucks for the xbox so it's not too big of a deal.

Yep solder is gone. You could look into giving to someone with better soldering skills or try to fix it yourself to improve on your own soldering skills.Which one is it going to be hmm?

Well I have quite a few rrod xenon boards that can be used as practice. Im going to lift the same pad on one and practice fixing it.
