no progress bar on flash

This is a description of the exact problem i had:
I've tried both the disc and the network. I'm using 1959 bios on a v1.1 XBox. Also, both flash protection switches are off.

Ok, using either method, it has no problem finding the file. It's says the "FLASHING XECUTER" and warning, but then no progress bar comes up, it and it immediately starts flashing green/amber...

I know the install was done right cause the guy who did it does circuit board repair for a living.

Any help would be much apreciated. Ive tried CDR CDRW and DVD+R

well what flashBIOS are you using? try upgrading to the latest one

Problem with j/f

Problem with j/f im trying to re flash my liteon 74850c with j/f 0.1.67
it sees my drive ok but when i go to mtk flash 32 click on intro device id all i get is ox52 any help on this please and i dont have a probe kit and im wanting to upgrade the flash to the new lt one thanx kirky

put the drive in half way postistion this will put the drive in vendor mode

you may just have to do the lite-on erase to get it into vendor mode
