Admittedly, I am a n00b at all this so please be patient with me.
Here's my hardware for starters:
1. XBOX ver. 1.2 (Special Edition HALO green)
2. Xecuter 3CE modchip (soldered, no Xapter)
3. Philips DVD-Drive (stock)
4. Seagate 1.5TB SATA drive with Sabrent Adapter (recognized find during flashing)
I was able to successfully install the X3 chip with soldering, and was subsequently able to flash it with the newest 3294 BIOS off of Xbins. According to the instructions, my XBOX logo upon booting should have an addition for "Xecuter Rox My Box" but I do not. In conjunction with the fact that the XBOX will not read the media for the installer (i tried both Ritek and Memorex, both supposed to work according to media compatibility database).
So, with all that in mind, the problem I'm up against is as follows. From my reading of the post about resoldering LPC 13/14 i cannot help but wonder whether that is my problem. I'm entirely open to the idea that I may have not soldered it entirely correctly. I do not get a blank screen as is mentioned in that post, but rather just the XBOX logo after the flubber animation (again, with no Xecuter Logo). The other thought that crossed my mind is that it is a media compatibility problem, or perhaps something else entirely that i am just not seeing. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
