Hi,

I have bought the NAND-X and i dumped my NAND OK on Jesper 256mo. Now i want to take my CPU key. So i launch JTAG TOOL and press "write xell". After few seconds, i ha ve a message "Xell writed ok".

Now i plug my YUV cable on TV (or AV) but i have NEVER signal. I can't see my CPU KEY. I have a USB joypad, i tried with eject button but nothing .. My tv always give me "NO SIGNAL" !

What happend ?

(i try to restore my NAND and all is Ok so i haven't got problem with the Nand-x or installation).

1. Does the ROL light up just like when the Xbox360 normally boots ?

2. Remember, you have to use a VGA cable set on SD(or TV) mode in order for XeLL to appear on the TV.

You will need either the standard A/C cable (yellow/white/red) or the combined one with 6 outputs (blue/green/red/red/yellow/white). XeLL is not viewable via HDMI mode hence why.

I understand that the light on the ROL stays green. But does it light up in the specific pattern of moving in a circle just like when you turn on a normal Xbox360 ?

It means that there is some problem with the XeLL you wrote to the NAND. I suggest you get XeLL for your motherboard from Xbins and write it manually to the NAND using Nandpro. See if it works.

As flashing360 mentioned above, get XeLL from Xbins. Also, get XeLLous from Xbins just to be on the safe side.

Write XeLL to your NAND using Nandpro. Then update it to XeLLous.

Just to elaborate what I have said above:

From big_ted's tutorial:

flash xell (free60 version)to the console you are flashing a file approx 1.3mb in size double check this before you start flashing so not to overwrite the rest of the nand.
MAKE SURE TO HAVE THE VERSION FOR YOUR BOARD

zephyr would be
nandpro usb: -w16 zephyr_hack_updxell.bin 0

xennon would be
nandpro usb: -w16 xenon_1921hack.bin 0

big block jaspers (edit the 256/512 to suit)
nandpro usb: -w256/-w512 jasper_6723_hack_for_256mb_512mb.bin 0

update the xell with xellous
open the xellous rar image and extract xell-1f.bin

nandpro usb: +W16 xell-1f.bin 40

once this is done remove the power cord and wait 30 seconds or so,
plug in the composite av lead and the network cable,
If it has worked correctly then after the blue screen with writing you should see at the bottom the dvd key and the cpu key displayed for you, and then a line httpd listen: make a note of the ip number after that, (you can just write down the cpu number but this takes the human error out of the equation)
open up firefox on your pc and type in that ip address
you should be prompted with a white screen with some options.
click download for fuses this gives you a txt file with cpu key and dvd key.

once you have the info power down the console.

Victory !!!

i do the JTAG myself with my diode 1N4148 and my wire.. and now is ok ! grrrrr
Glad to hear that. Now go on to making the freeboot image and have fun using a Jtagged Xbox360 ;)

If you installed freeboot, then your dashboard version should be 9199, not 7357.
