no spi status on 16d4s after accidently hitting read...

Okay so i was in the middle of flashing a kamikaze 16d4s for a client and at the point where i was supposed to hit write i accidently hit read while moving the mouse to the write button. Now in the box where the spi status is supposed to be it is blank and nothing is there. I can't write because everytime i try it gets stuck at the first dot of "writing bank 1". I tried to erase it and that gets stuck at "sending sector erase to port 0x0000". I'm able to perform the slim key command still thou. I already slapped a replacement pcb on the customers board but i would like to bring this one back to life if i can too save money. Thanks in advance.

You have damaged the spi. Probably a poor kamikaze.

Relock the spi with ctrl+shft+f11 then try to unlock again.

There's still no spi status. when i did the key combination you instructed me to do it did lock the drive thou and i know this because in the log bog it said spi status:0x8c but theres still nothing in the spi status box. It basically looks as thou a 16d2s drive is hooked up. You know how with the 16d2s's theres nothing in the spi status box. And im almost positive this has nothing to do with the kamikaze itself because it was working fine until i accidently hit read. And anytime i messed up a kami hack it threw a odd spi status code at me when jungleflasher alerts you with the beep that the drilling is complete and this did not. It went from 0x8c to 0x03 to 0x00 which is normal. The drive still ejects and the laser functions still so chances are the kamikaze was successful and this is all due to the fact that i hit that read button. I was trying to educate myself on exactly what read button did and i came across a video on youtube where the person was using a method of flashing the 16d4s that involved the read button. And when he hit the read button the spi status disappeared like mine has done and then after he was done writing the fw the spi status came back, but of course i cant find the video to show you... Im clueless at this point!

I have no clue why you are even talking about the "read" button messing things up.

If you don't do a full dump "read" of every single D4S you Kamikaze or Sputnik, you are really f**king stupid.

Like Jsinger said, You click READ when you unlock your spi..
