Not a good idea to mix versions like this.

There are tools like LiveInfo which allow you to edit an EEPROM, changing the Xbox version in it.

You're going to need to reprogram the EEPROM now - are you able to restore it?

The only thing i can really do is boot to the back-up bios so that i get the flashbios screen when i try to start the box it starts the x3 in red then after 15-20 secs turns blue but during this there is no video

if you can send me both eeproms I can make a linux bios that will install the new bios and fix you version and video info. Just pm if you need it, also the way it would work is you set the x3 to 256bios load and flash this bios on to the xbox and the eeprom that has been embedded will install on to the xbox. This program has helped so many ppl but I can't take responsibility for anything that happens but I dout your problem can get any worse. If you are intrested pm me and I will send you the info you need and I will find a site for the program I use so that you can read more about it.
