No Video after flashing bios

Hi hope someone can help me out. I flashed my 1.6 xbox with a 3296 incorrect bin, did not use the v16plus version. Right when it was ready to finish flashing it turned off. When i turned it back on it would turn off and on for 3 times then start to flash green to red over and over on the eject button. Also to make things worse i had the pins set for off on off off off which i've now read thats is wrong. I tried to boot old bios by pushing the power and eject same time, the x turns purple so i think thats working but there is no video on the tv. I've move around the pins different configurations but no video. I've tried to boot old bios with out any video hoping that i can log on http but thats no use or maybe i don't know the right steps. Please let me know what i can do to correct this prob. thanks

The flash bios 3.0.1 is not compatible with 1.6, you need another xbox to correct the flash.

Wrong. 3.01 IS compatable with 1.6, but not 1.6b

Do you have a 1.6 or 1.6b?

Its a 1.6b sorry wrote the wrong wone down earlier.

In that case, you need a non-v1.6b modded xbox to flash your chip with.

Would it be cheaper just to buy another mod chip since i don't have another xbox which would cost more anywayz?

Don't you know somebody in your place who has a modded xbox? You can also ask the store where you bought your chip to re-flash your chip for you and you can also try the new Spiderchip programmer but nobody here prove it yet to work. If all of these is not possible then I guess you'll have to buy another modchip like you said...

You may want to check other members here as most established members would reflash it for you via postal service... If you were based in the UK I'd do it.

I ordered another chip, thanks guys for the help. This time i'm gonna read the settings before i flash with the right bios this time. One more quick question. Before i flashed the bios i noticed that there was only video on certian configurations of the dip switches. Is that common? If so what configuration should i have them in after i flashed it and just want it to run normally?

You need to boot to bank 5678. Then change switches to bank 1234 BEFORE flashing. Then as soon as you get your X3 bios working, flash FlashBios3.03 to your back-up.
