i made a huge mistake and wondering if possible to fix this. I had downloaded the 5035 and it came with x2_5035_v16plus_512k and x2_5035_vold_512k well when i went to make the bios cdrw i accidently changed the name to bios.bin from the x2_5035_v16plus_512k instead of using x2_5035_vold_512k. I have just realised i did this after flashing and booting up the xbox and hearing the msdash but no video. I did all this on bank 1. Is there a solution to this? can I put the x2_5035_vold_51k ok bank 2 ? any help greatly appriciated.
no video after flashing to 5035 with 2.6ce but sound ok

burn flashx to a disc and put the bios in a folder /Bios on the disk. Place in drive allow xbox to boot and go at it. FlashX can also be placed in he apps folder and be used from harddrive threw your dash once everything has been fixed. If is a good peice of software to keep on the xbox. That way if you ever want to flash again you just ftp bios to xbox run flash x and flash away

yes boot to bank 2 it will allow you to flash bank 1 it will actaully be bank 1&2 witch in all relaity is bank 1 and banks 3&4 is bank 2. atleast is is in version 1.1 so if it shows you four banks in flashx and trys to flash 1&2 do not be allarmed that is actaully bank 1 only
Ok i burned the disc and when I loaded it on bank 2 the flashbios 3.0.3 screen came up with the choice to load bios from hd or cd. Is it supposed to load the dvdr with flashx and not show the flashbios 3.0.3 screen? When i tried on bank 1 i could hear some music from the flashx 1.2 dvdr i made but no video. sorry to be a nusence. thanks for your help.
ok so basicly bank 2 is untouched you can flash it with a good bios then fix bank 1 by booting from bank 2. but do it right this time casue if you mess up bank 2 you will be outta luck. but the link i gave you to make the cd follow it again and make a bios cd and flash ban2 or upload flash to hd and flash that way. but you need a working bios on bank 2 to fix bank 1. Sorry I should have asked that to start with.

Dude i got the same sh*t with 5032 i got to ftp and install evox and memorize the number of down click to the flashing menu but i was able to flash it back to 4983

Bluntboy no you do need to upgrade your chip to flash the new version on flash is 5035 and works great on the 2.6 but there is a few things you need to know If you have a version 1.5 or loawer xbox use the old flash in the zip if its a 1.6 use the plus flash in the zip. Also if you have a partion G then you must patch the bios for G use. All directions are in the zip. Really should not have much trouble. Just read a little first.
