@ Antapromille...perhaps you're looking at the whole picture either with one eye closed or a distorted perspective...of course TX doesn't support failing xenons...but you know what they do support? The "Extreme Edition Repair Kit III"...which has been used worldwide to treat errors of this type..."no Video/Sound"...as stated on their packaging.

It is irrefutable fact that not only does it do a good job at it...but that it does it with lasting effects.

How many have you installed? Antalpromille and those like him fixes things like this the proper way everyday. I've seen my fair share of failed consoles that have had these types of "fixes" applied. You can't argue against the fact that this does not fix the broken solder points. It just doesn't and can't..... If it did then there wouldn't be a demand for reflows and reballs on electronics.

This will be my final comment in this thread:
I've installed enough of these kits to know they work. It is truely the next best thing after reball or reflow...just give credit where it is due...the bottom line is they work better then you might think.

I sure hope you either tell people this isn't a permanent fix if repairing for someone or selling at a discounted price if you're buying and reselling. Anyone that knows better would be pissed to open one of these up to find such a thing. I love TX products but they do have the tendency to make more of the product at times than what it actually is and this one is a great example. It's like fixing a water leak with duct tape instead of cutting out the bad section and replacing it.

I'm not trying to be an a**h**e here but I hate for people to read comments like yours and either waste money or cause more damage. Having a proper fix isn't as expensive as one might think.

Once upon a time I installed tons of these, and guess what? I have got all back again after a period of time. Best one lasted almost 5 months but I don't know how much it was used during the time.

And just because you never heard of the customer after "repair" doesn't mean it's still working.
