ok so i dont have a chip installed in this xbox so its not really related to a chip, this xbox is mainly for case modding.
its a v1.0 console and i have removed the gpu fan in order to use the power for something else. anyway i soldered a cold cathode for the jewel onto the power where the fan should be. anyway i boot up my xbox and i get 2 boot attempts and then green/red flashing and i get no video or sound. Then after a few seconds it flashes orange and i cant turn it off. i then pull the power and then boot again and it goes straight to orange and still no video or sound.
ive checked for any solder splashes and there isnt any, what the hell is wrong and how can i sort it?
