OK.. So I got an HDTV, went out and bought component cables for the HDTV , went into the X3 config and changed the video modes to 480p,720p,1080i all supported/enabled and restarted the xbox. Now I have no video at all on Component Out OR on the normal output. Power+Eject takes me to FlashBIOS in the normal (red/white/yellow) outputs, but I see no video. Power+Eject takes me to FlashBIOS in Component(HDTV) outputs and I can see video then in FlashBIOS only, but not with the X3 bios probably due to the 480p,720p,1080i outputs being enabled.
First off.. does anybody know the problem? I tried to blind navigate the X3 config with no video showing but it acts like its either locked or the controller is not responding.
Second, in flashbios, I was going to try to reflash to the latest X3 bios, but the controller does not respond, it just stays on the first option. I have a madcatz controller that I got with the xbox when I bought it.
Any ideas on the video problem and the flashbios problem?
