No working banks

Problem i used the password thingy in the x3 config live thinking if my kid came out and turned it on he wouldnt stuff it. Well i was wrong there was no pass prompt on reboot and i have no other working bios banks not even my backup as i was using it for a ms debug bios awhile ago and forgot 2 swap it back
I cant access the x3 config live screen i just want 2 get it back 2 normal can i use evolution 2 flash it or other apps that can b done from disc or ethernet.
I have a hacked x3 bios i was thinking of trying 2 get the x3 config live screen up on that hotswapping then flashing. got a v1.6 and im currently using half of the 1m passworded bios 2 run xbmc
dont ask me how but if i choose the other half of the 1mb bios i passworded it freezez so im happy i can still use it but unhappy i fu*****d it. Or even easier how do i bring up the password prompt. Thankyou in advance

i dont have a second x3 just some homebrew chips but the hacked bios wont allow u into the config live ill try hold down them buttons see how i go bb in 10 thanks for all the help guys Also can i use slayers autoinstaller which has evoxs flashing app on it 2 reflash the banks i select.

slayer will not work tryed it
theres a way to get to you dash and try x3 erace eeprom program you have to download auto installer delux then put that in xbox dvd reboot xbox then install x3 erace eeprom then reboot with aid still in dvd drive goto the option boot to dash it should boot to your dash run x3 erace eeprom
that may work not 100%

so is the information stored in my eeprom that i am trying 2 get around
i have a backup of my orig eeprom should i use config and upload that.
if that wont work can u give more details on this eeprom erace

i prob didnt explain this enough so ill type it again sorry. i Have a orig x3 with lcd and pro switch i passworded the bank i was using which was the only working bank which was the 1st 1mb bank on the chip. i no longer have a backup 256k bios 2 recover my f**kup. I used the password protection on the 1mb bank i was using thinking it would prompt me a pass everytime i loaded just so that the kids didnt stuf it. It seems i can use if i turn off the second switch and only using half the passworded bios it boots straight 2 xbmc. i just need a way of being able 2 reflash any of the banks or figuring out how 2 get the password prompt up. thankyou in advance the for all u who have tried 2 help so far

if you got xbmc working try flashx3 it a flash program that is spose to work on x3 ftp to apps folder then put bios by ftp it into bios folder in program try too flash the chip with flashbios or other bios i told you about it a x2 program thats been rewiten for x3 so it will only flash frist 1mb bank or the second bank i have flash my chip this way with flashbios trying to fix the password prolbem but did a hotswap before i found answer about [font=verdana, arial, helvetica] x3_1892beta i read about x3 erace eeprom on this site somewhere so not 100% if it work and what it eraces i think it erace the eeprom on the chip itself not xboxs

I have similar problem. I installed my X3/pro-switch/LCD no problem. Flashed 3294 bios on bank 1-4 - OK. on X3 live Config I set a password. Then set autolaunch x3 live config disable (thinking it was XBox Live config not wanting to get banned) Rebooted XBox, now only get logo w/Rox my box at bottom. It plays unsigned code,LCD displays logo,,, allgood... I cant get back to config screen, reflash bios (any) or install dash...
Need help!!! How do I get back to config live / reset-reflash bios / enter password anything???

can you get your backup to work power eject at same time
if you flashed only one of the 1mb banks then you may have a working flashbios on that
if you have flashbios flash you chip with [font=verdana, arial, helvetica]version x3_1892beta if you have v1.6 use the one for that then remove password
to get back in to config hold white button on boot of xbox

Looking for the flashx3 app that sounds promising. found torrent no seeds xbins and other xbox sites dont seem 2 have it if u have a link that would b great. The x2 app that will flash the 1st 1mb bank uses a serial cable or somthing which i dont have. Going back 2 the holding the white button down that didnt work and niether did holding down all the x,y,a,b buttons either. Thanks for all the help

found flash x3 got it from the xbins ftp server all looked well then just when i had it and it all looked good i f**** it right up and flashed it with a norm x3 bios and not the v1.6 version. Now nothing cant even turn the dam thing on. Now wtf can i do i have a chip but no bios 2 boot is my only option now a hotswap. any suggestions. please help me.

Thanks for you quick response.

White button on boot & x,y,a,b no good. I can load flashbios 3.03 on banks 5-8.
I tried to reflash 1-4 from there, had no luck flashing any bank or config access after password added. is it the password blocking the reflash? I can access flashbios back up w/ power-eject but it would not allow me to flash any thing from that point. when i change the protect switches it either says "unknown flash - halting" or "flash protected - halting" I've tried all combo's. I will look for flashx3 & 1892 beta.

I got flashx3 and 1892b, both .rar files. does fx3 run on my pc or do i make a new boot disk for xbox w/ these files to run as apps on dash?? Note: i can boot dash from disk only, having no luck from xb hd. I'm new, thanks 4 ur patients...

I created an ISO w/ FlashX3 - v1892 - v3294.. Booted, flashed w/ 1892, deleted password, reflashed back to 3294 and waalaa. Just as you said.

I thought I was going to have to but a new chip and start all over..
Now onto loading up HD w/ goodies..;)

Note: should anybody use p/w settings at all for x3 or v3294?? Is it a bug needing fix??
