No Xecuter3 chip detected

I have just flashed my box with the X3 3294 bios and I'm getting a "NO Xecuter3 chip detected" error message. Chips is working and splash screen works, but then the message.

Ok, trying to reflash, but how do you get back to the original 3.0.1 flashbios? I flashed the X3 bios with Banks 0 and 1 in the ON position. I didn't overwrite the flashbio did I?

boot the backup bios (power and eject until light is purple)
set dips to on on off off off
reflash with 3294

if backup wont work try booting with
off on off off off
switch dips to on on off off off
reflash


You do have an X3 chip right?

It could be a instal issue, if you cannot get it to work with the x3 bios try a x2 bios. If the X2 works then you need to check your install, pay particular attention to pins 13 and 14.
