I'm modding this one 1.0 box and it comes up with this message.

NO Xecuter3 Chip Detected!

FlashBIOS boots fine, there was an X2 in it before that I removed. It also seems to not like the older X3 BIOS (they just power down, not frag, they just turn off). Disabling the chip, the retail BIOS boots up just fine. I've retouched all the points to make sure there was a good solid connection so that's not it. Also, I am using the full pinheader, not the x2 pinheader.

Any ideas??!

Have you tested the X2 in the same pinheader?

Yep, X2 works fine.

Do you get both blue lights on the X3?

If not, then you need to check the LPC pins for voltages. Pay close attention to pin 15 which isn't used on the X2, but gives 3.3v to the X3 IC.
