RGH No Xell Menu on Zypher Board

Hi All,
I have a problem regarding RGH on a zypher board. I have installed the CoolRunner via the QSB (pic included) the soldering points looks clean.
I have read the nand (twice) and created an ECC file.
After I wrote the ECC into the Nand, The CR (NOR mode) is not responding (no green led) and NO XELL MENU (only Blank screen).

I have CoolRunner rev b which I have bridged the CAP points.

zephs have a mind of their own I have concluded these boards are possessed lol
try changing the xvsf file to falcon I did one that wouldn't move on zeph yet reprogrammed coolrunner to falcon then glitched



edit notr try switching to slim as well

your soldering looks ok to me, maybe it's just the console itself. Zephyrs are unpredictable to say the least

Can you check continuity between "B" and r4b24. qsb seems to be in two different places when comparing it on pictures.

Thanks for the quick replays.....yes I have checked point B and the r4b24 point.....Is looks OK (used multimeter)...
What I did now is to remove the bridge from the "cap" points in the coolrunner(rev. b).... and now the CR green led is blinking.....but NO boot to xell.....


Any Ideas.....

can you explain the procedure (xvsf)......I'm using jtag tool......

dont use jtag too its outdated. use jrunner!!!

Is by far the most simple easy to use tool out there

I'm going to use the "jrunner" tool......but should it make the difference that the "Jtag tool" didn't??

Agreed, j-runner is very N00b friendly. The only thing it don't do is solder the wires in for you

OK.....I tried the jrunner tool and the result are the same......NO XELL only blank screen!!
can you please tell me how to revert to the old nand???
what are the steps????
