Inm looking on geting a NAND-X but wondering which Kit is better to go with. I mean, is it anyone better in terms of cleanier or easier to install, or any other aspect to consider?

Thanks.

the alt kit#5 is for people with very good soldering. i personally wouldnt use it myself cause i dont think im competent enough. it is advertised as a professional installer option. if youre good at soldering then stick with the standard kit and youll be fine. if your soldering is perfect then try the alt kit.

the choice is yours.

from product description:

"This PCB is soldered to the bottom of the motherboard and is for professional installers only. Do not attempt to install this if you do not have good soldering experience."

So, whats the advantage/point on going with Kit#5 over #2, even if you have pro soldering skills?

Also, is it convenient to leave the nand QSB/PinHeaders/cables installed, so they may be connected to NAND-X without having to open the XBOX again, in case NAND re-reading/writing/flashing be required on a future?

i always keep my nand pin headers in place. whats the point in removing them.

i cant really say much more about the alt kit cause ive never personally used it. im sure someone else who has will be able to answer that.
