None Of My New Backups Are Working

I recently got this problem where none of my new backups are working. everytime i successfully burn one i put it in the 360 and it says unrecognizeable (dirty) disc. but all of my old ones are working just fine. i havent changed anything about the way i burn them. can someone help me please.

Are the discs the same media? What firmware do you have installed?

yes all of my media is the same disc. and my firmware is 5.2c

try another ss.bin file i had same problem an i used a another ss.bin file

my friend flashed my xbox 360 for me. i also meant to say that every time i put the original game in the console, a white screen comes up saying "To play this disc, put it in an Xbox 360 console. Does that mean i have to get it reflashed. but all of my old backups are working just none of my new ones.

No, you do not need to reflash if your old backups and originals are working. You get that message if your key isnt correct (which it is in your case) or there is an issue with your backups (ss's as stated).

How are you making your backups? How has this process changed from your older backups?

my friend makes my backups for me. but i have the original games. and they are not working. so can i fix the key or my friend would have to do that since he flashed it on his comp. or should i just downgrade my firmware. right now its 5.2c

I use 4.2b and would use nothing else cuz it works like a charm

have him flash 4.2b on it and u should be good

you can reflash yourself...but you need your orig.bin he created when he originally flashed your 360

do u think i should just buy a different brand of dvd+r DL discs. right now im using memorex. do u think thats weakening my lens. im thinkin bout getting the verbatim. is there a place to get good deals on them.

That is very odd. Why would his "old backups" work but not his new ones or even the original discs? He should be getting no discs working or all discs working (or at least originals). I have no idea, weird problem.

i just bought some verbatim discs dvd+r dl and now its saying unplayeable disc. do u think it may be my laser lens. it might need to be cleaned
