Hi

Hope someone can answer what is probably a really stupid question
I'm looking to update my Switch and SX OS Software and currently running Firmware 5.1 and SX 1.9 or should I stay on what I have

Is it as simple as downloading the latest SX OS version 2.9.2 and putting the boot.dat file on my SD card and updating the Firmware via the update facility on the switch.
Do I just turnoff my Switch, eject the SD card, add the Boot.dat, turn on switch and update it and then reinsert the SD card and boot in SX OS.

Two other questions - how do I turn off the switch to boot into original firmware / how do I turnoff the switch and boot back into SX (it hasn't been turned off since I originally put the SX OS on

Fingers crossed someone out there can provide a simple explanation

I think there might be a stickied thread at the top of this forum about updating offline

Except use choidujournx 1.0.2 not 1.0.1 mentioned in the Tut.
