Noob looking for a system.

I've been doing research about what system to mod my 360 with and feel overwhelmed with all the information and different choices. I've found team xecuter seems to be in the forefront.

Here is what I have:
Phat system
w/ zephyr
w/ liteon
running 17349

Previously, I used jungle flasher to play burnable dvds but the time (with very low successful burn rate) just isn't worth it. I also tried using Xbox360****** and even after successfully doing all the things needed, I could never get ****** to recognize and play games off a HDD.

I'm not interested in xbox live and don't mind losing the capability to get online. I do want to play off of HDD though so I can have an extensive library. I'm not scared of soldering in the slightest (and might even add that I'm halfway good at it). I'm also not worried about boot time as long as it does turn on, because of that I'd prefer the cheapest bundle. What is the best system to fit my needs? I'm hoping to be pointed in the right direction for which bundle and which guide to use to knock it out over a weekend.

R-Jtag? cr4xl? RGH?

if you value your game console please dont test on your 360, you will end up skull f**king it im sorry but just look at the threads on here all the time that say this was there first time and they screwed up there systems but if you do have soldering skills, im not sure but i heard zepyrs are a bitch to glitch i think the ace v3 or cr4 might be able to do it though.

I appreciate the input so far. I'm hoping to get links to resources as well if anyone can be of assistance. I understand there is risk, but it is an idle xbox otherwise as well.

theres not really a easier xbox 360 to rgh, there is only a 99$ of you destroying your 360.
