noob needing advice on kit to buy for flashing etc

Hi everyone,

I am new to the 360 scene and just wondering what kit you guys use on a daily basis..

I need to be able to read and write to the NAND chip, write dvd key to a new drive in cases where drive has failed(not sure if that warrants a ban though)

So far I have on order:

Team Xecuter CK3 probe and CK3 mini
Via 6421 SATA pci card

possibilities:

TX Corona 4gb NAND RW kit (£6.47)
X360 USBPRO V2 (only problem is I can only get it for (£152.49!!!)

Any help or links to genuine kit in the uk would be greatly appreciated

Have you even bothered searching on google? We have million of the same thread asking this question. A simple search would prevent asking stupid questions as searching on google should be a standard. Im not trying to be a d**k, but at least help yourself.

I will be getting the 4gb R/W kit
the x360 usbpro i do want but for the few xbox's i have in so far and the fact I cant seem to find one cheap enough I cant see me getting it as of yet :/

I'll look into the JR programmer

a NAND-X would work, but you should only buy from OFFICIAL RESELLERS

CK3 and Kanection don't stock any of the stuff

Mr Modchips redirects to Mr consoles so I presume that it is official reseller?

They have just changed names i think. It says "Mr Consoles, A new name for an old friend" Old friend being Mr Modchips I am guessing?

I have just looked up their domain.

MrModchips.co.uk and MrConsoles.com are both registered at the same address in Thailand, although I don't like the fact their website is based in Thailand It still has the seal of approval don't it?
