noob question about rgh and hdd

i have a 250 g im looking to put in my hdd for when my xbox arrives back from the shop tomorrow

the 250 has a 9g recovery partion for the laptop it was taken out of and i cant seem to delete the it from computer management in windows


does the recovery partion need to be deleted or will my xbox be able to detect multiple pre rendered partions??

The second you put the HDD in the console, it'll repartition it and format as FATx. Everything will be gone.

I believe that if your gonna use it as the main hdd xbox will reformat it and everything gets erased.

why don't you just make a recovery cd for your windows and not worry about that partition anymore?

on your computer, you go to your manage partitions, and delete partiton. Here is the FAT32 partition gui:

After you delete revoery partition and expand main partition, use GUI to format HD to FAT32.
