[Noob question] Can I upgrade from Xecture 2 to version 3?

Hello all,

I've got a modded xbox and I *think* there is a DuoX chip in it. When I boot the xbox it says "xecuter2" and when it's booted it says "Evo-X: +3935" on the upper right of the screen.
I noticed that there is a new version of the xecuter available and I would like to update my xbox with it. But is it possible?

you'd have to desolder the current modchip in ur xbox (presuming ofcourse, that you used a soldered solution to fit it) and then install an X3 using the desired method (i recommend soldered pogo pins, as would nearly everyone else)

A simple answer, yes you can upgrade the chip, but its not like you just flash a new bios to it, you need to tear everything out then put the new stuff back in. Just keep the Xecuter 2 in there... too many things could go wrong when you try to fix something thats not broken.
